Database connection failed

The portal could not connect to the MySQL database. Please check:

• MySQL is running (start it in XAMPP Control Panel)
• The database glen_tt_portal has been created (run database/schema.sql)
• The credentials in config/db.php are correct

Technical detail: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
